| After being in the midwest for 15 years, I relocated to Florida. On my way I took a side trip to Virginia to pick up some items stored in family members attics for years. While digging through one attic I came across a board. It had been sitting for a long time, still had wax on from whenever the last owner rode it. Not having a board anymore myself, I brought it along. Ugly, heavy with excess resin from repairs, and fixed fins made it barely rideable. One day we took it into the shop and began sanding the excess resin, we found the board was a Bob White, about 20 years old. Now it will float and ride much better, but there just wasn't anything that could be done about the UGLY. | |
