The links are categorized by type to narrow the search results. The states are in two alphabetical sections with the coastal states listed first then the others below them. Naturally not all states will have surf shops or reports however those that border the Great Lakes may have since the "Freshies" surf those areas on the days it is going off. They most likely get as many ridable days as those who are on the Gulf Coast do. Searches by state will only return results when USA is selected which is the default country. When searching other countries all results for that country will return for the chosen category. Some results will have more data returned than others, as I find more or new information on the links it is added to the database. I am adding some shops or stores which do not have a website, they will be listed with as much information as possible for those locations.
If you know of any good surf related links send them and I will review the site and add it to the database. If you find a broken or offensive link please let me know. I will have a look at the site and remove it from the database if necessary. There are email links on the menu above under the Contact section which will open your email program with the proper subject and address for you.
